News and Links 2008 HS Football Profiles Who's Who in 2008?

There will be at least three teams in the Pre-Season 4A Baker's Dozen that will lose their first game. Why is that? Check out the awesome schedules. On August 22nd Richmond Senior (8) will visit New Bern (3); Millbrook (11) at Garner (10); and Southern Durham (12) will visit Mt. Tabor (7). How about that for the first week of high school football in the state.
For the most part the top 13 teams in the first Baker's Dozen are accustomed to being there. For the umpteenth time Independence leads the first rankings. They are closely followed by twelve other teams. Like in 3A, it appears that the season is going to be quite competitive. [details]
